12,000 words

I've got 12,000 words down on 17 pages (34 if double spaced) in this story I'm focusing on right now. I'm hoping to have 15,000 words by the weeks end and 30,000 words by the time spring semester starts in about a month.
This story isn't like my usual shock and horror, it's a different tune. Not necessarily going for happy, but trying to stress the importance of being a decent human being.
Time to get cracking.
If I don't see you(The three people who read this stuff) by years end, I want to wish you a happy holiday and a Happy new year.

bout damn time for a new entry

It's been a while since my last entry. I have moved on since my cat passed away, and have found a new stride to pursue. So here's the plan for my life.
August 29th 2011 - In about a week I will be starting a graphic design program at Lakeland Community College (www.lakelandcc.edu) to get my associates degree and hopefully get myself a job in that field for the time being.
August 2012 - I will turn 21, the legal age to pour alcohol. I am going to pursue a bar tending license, so I can support myself and move out of my parent's house.
August 2013 - Return to lakeland to begin the process to achieve my writing associates degree.
August 2015 - Return to a traditional 4 year school to achieve my bachelors in graphic design
August 2017 - Return to a traditional 4 year school to achieve my bachelors in writing.
Thats about as far as I have gotten in the planning process. It's a tentative time line, right now the only thing that is set in stone is attending lakeland for my graphic design program. everything else has not been put to paper.
As for writing, I have a story in the works. I don't have a title for the story yet, but it is shaping up to be a great piece. It is outside of my normal comfort zone, but if you don't push yourself then how will you know what your good at? I'm 7,000 words in right now, and I'm hoping to be at 11,000 by the end of the week! Ambitious I know, but if I don't keep pushing myself I will never make it.
anyway, that's my update. I'll see you later.
