The Heart

the heart is a heavy burden to bear
Sometimes full of emotion and about to burst
I wish to wring my own heart
And watch the raw red pour out
Like rain drops plopping on concrete
The Ricochet of the drops releases something Audible
Sounds of what i've held in for so long, and finally letting go.
Their words travel up in fractal-like wisps plaging my ears.
My hands clutch desperately at them, trying to block them.
My eyes widen, my mind weakens, and my heart fills anew.
Containing new emotion, new burdens to bear.
